![]() The whole place has a very community-oriented feel, as there were families, baseball teams and people of all sorts getting their breakfast on inside this little space. The grande dame herself was behind the counter taking orders when we were there. The walls in this tiny taco shack are decorated with articles about Villa Arcos and the community involvement of the owner. I was more impressed with the potato and cheese taco that Boy let me try-the potato was perfectly seasoned, and he'd doctored the cheddar and potato combination with their jalapeno hot sauce. My egg and bacon was sheathed in a healthy, obviously homemade tortilla, and the bacon crumbles were thick and delicious. After seeing the Yelp reviews, I knew I had to taste for myself, and all the details were spot on. As a part of my continuing mission to explore the East End, the boy and I headed to Villa Arcos for breakfast on Saturday. That's not quite true: the tacos are indeed awesome, but it's now 32 years and counting. ![]() The sign on the side of the storefront says "30 Years of Awesome Tacos". ![]()
